Ready to get started and have a new website built? Here are the steps you'll be asked to complete for the website designer.

1. Let’s Talk About Your Idea

The designer will ask:

  • What does your business do?
  • What do you want people to see or do on your website?
  • Do you have a name, logo, or colors you like?
  • Can you provide a few links to websites that you like?

It’s like deciding what kind of house you want, size, garage, number of bedrooms, etc.

2. Planning the Blueprint

We will sketch out:

  • How many pages you need (like Home, About Us, Contact).
  • What goes on each page (pictures, words, buttons).

This is like drawing a map of your house: where the door goes, where the snack table is, and where the games are.

3. Designing the Look

Now we make it look awesome:

  • Choose colors, fonts, and pictures.
  • Make sure it matches your business vibe, fun, serious, fancy, etc.

It’s like decorating your clubhouse with posters, lights, and cool furniture.

4. Building the Website

This is the techy part:

  • We use computer code to make everything work.
  • Buttons, menus, and links get built so people can click around.

Kind of like using LEGO bricks to build the real house from your drawing.

5. Testing Everything

Before showing it to the world:

  • We check if everything works on phones, tablets, and computers.
  • Fix any bugs (like broken buttons or slow pages).

It’s like making sure the house door doesn’t squeak and the lights turn on.

6. Launching the Website

Now it goes live!

  • People can visit your new business website online.
  • You can share it with customers, friends, and family.
  • At this point we test contact email forms, email addresses.
  • We also install Google Analytics and Google Search Console so you can see how many people are visiting your website and what search terms on Google they are clicking on to get to your website.

It’s like opening your house and inviting everyone to come and visit.

7. Keeping It Fresh

Even after it’s built:

  • You might want to add new stuff later.
  • We can help update it.

Like adding new products, reviews or blog posts to your website over time.
